Piglet may have arrived as the foster dog who adored his future mom, but these days he seems to have expanded his inner circle. In a video shared by @wethreepitties, the sweet rescue dog is caught having what can only be described as a very serious cuddle session with one of his owner’s closest friends. The sweet and tender clip has already picked up more than 13.5k likes. And once you see it, you’ll know exactly why it’s so popular.
Adopted dog falls in love with owner’s best friend
The video opens with Piglet curled up beside his favorite guest during a movie night. On-screen text reads, “when the boy dog you adopted because he was obsessed with you winds up falling in love with one of your best friends instead.” And honestly, the evidence is pretty convincing.
Piglet is completely focused on her. There are gentle nose touches, soft cuddles, paws draped over arms, and plenty of affectionate smooches. At one point he notices his mom filming and briefly looks away, almost like he’s been caught in the act. Then his mom says, “we see you,” and the friend immediately bursts out laughing after realizing their private moment has an audience.
The funniest part is that the Pit Bull doesn’t seem embarrassed for long. As we see in the video, the cute dog goes right back to snuggling his owner’s friend. His little tail keeps wagging while he rubs his nose against her face and eventually starts licking her nose too. According to his mom, he doesn’t even do this with them.
Viewers loved every second of it. One person wrote, “The side eye he’s giving right now. Leave us alone, please.” Another comment noted that there is always a highly special relationship between puppies and their aunties. Yet another viewer joked that Piglet should probably pack an overnight bag because he’s clearly ready to move in with his new favorite human. Going by Piglet’s expression, he may have already made that decision.
