Years may have gone by, but Holly still has the same familiar little routine before kicking off the day. It’s the kind of tiny everyday moment that probably goes unnoticed by most people until someone looks back and realizes it’s been happening all along.

The video begins with present-day Holly padding into the living room after waking up. Before taking more than a step, she plants her front paws on the carpet and leans into one enormous stretch. She holds it for a couple of seconds, arches her back, then straightens up and pauses.
Only then does the second part of the routine begin. Holly gives herself one big shake from nose to tail, almost as if she’s brushing the sleep away before getting on with her morning. According to the caption, there’s one thing the Staffy’s owner has never skipped either. Every single stretch is met with an enthusiastic, “Big Stretch!” Apparently, that’s how mornings work in Holly’s house.
The video then jumps back several years to when the Staffy was still a tiny puppy. The room looks familiar even if the carpet is different, and little Holly walks into almost the exact same spot. Without missing a beat, she performs the very same stretch, takes a step forward, and finishes with the same full-body shake. Seeing both clips side by side makes it clear this isn’t something she learned later in life. It’s simply how it has been since the very beginning.
