The dog in this video proved that not all heroes wear capes as he pulled off a perfect rescue mission. The clip features a Newfoundland named Chewy who, when he saw his friends in the water and the boat shaking a bit, immediately dived in. The video was absolutely hilarious, as the ladies were clearly not in danger. However, the dog’s natural instinct to save them made the moment even more perfect.

This video shows that not all acts of heroism appear perfect — sometimes they come with a few flaws, and this dog trying to rescue two ladies proves just that. The clip was shared on Instagram by @chewythenewfoundland and received a lot of attention and love from viewers.

The video begins with two girls in a small boat, just starting to enjoy their ride. However, as the boat moves in the water and shakes a bit, it screams “danger” in the dog’s mind. The fur baby named Chewy immediately jumps into the water, getting ready for his perfect rescue mission.

However, there’s a twist: no one is actually in danger, and his favorite humans are simply having fun. The ladies then help the dog get out of the water safely, adding a hilarious turn to his rescue attempt. The video was captioned, “Ruff start but his hero cape remains intact!”

The video was clearly a delight to watch as it showed the ladies having fun on the boat ride and feeling special that their furry friend jumped into the water to save them. Moreover, the dog became a hero, rescuing his friends. Viewers loved the video and showered praise on the dog in the comments section. One user wrote, “It doesn’t matter what it takes, Chewy will always get the job done and everyone will be safe!” Meanwhile, others wrote that he is exceptionally well at his job.
