Peaches started the day with good intentions but ended it needing a little rescue. In the clip shared by @peachesthewagador, the three-year-old Labrador Retriever somehow ends up completely wrapped in the sheets while trying to make the bed.
Her expression quickly changes from that of an eager helper to “please get me out of here.” We see Peaches lift one paw, look around, and try a few different ways to figure out the mess, but the bedding is not giving her much cooperation. Finally, she accepts defeat and looks toward the person filming and lets out a small sigh.
Labrador tries to help with the sheets but gets tangled up instead
The video opens with Peaches already stuck on the bed, her body wrapped up in a sheet. Her entire body but her face is caught inside the fabric. She tries to lift one leg as if that might somehow solve everything. It does not.
The text on screen reads, “I wanted to help but the sheets had other plans,” which pretty much explains the entire situation. Peaches looks toward one side of her body, then the other, trying to work out where things went wrong. There is no obvious escape route.
The confused Labrador keeps moving her head and checking the tangled sheet, but nothing seems to loosen. After a few attempts, she smacks her lips twice and turns her attention toward the person behind the camera. That look is hard to miss.
Peaches stares at them with an expression that seems to ask why this problem has not already been fixed. She gives a quick sigh, too, as if she has officially reached the point where independent problem-solving is not going to cut it. For a dog who apparently wanted to be useful, watching how this Labrador helps with bedding has turned into tragic-comedy skit.
There is something endearing about how she keeps looking around before deciding she needs help. Lots of people have liked the funny Labrador video. One viewer responded with a crying-laughing emoji. Peaches’ face certainly gives them plenty to work with.
The Labrador tangled in sheets may not have made much progress on the bed, but she has managed to make the whole chore considerably more entertaining. Next time, perhaps the sheets can be handled by the humans.
