A rescue dog named Goose is jealous of his little brother, and the blame is on his dad. An Instagram video from @lesliebaker321 shows the titular chocolate Labrador with a flair for drama, making one thing abundantly clear — sharing his dad is not his style, and it is as hilarious as it gets.

The video captures a standoff that starts sweet but takes a turn toward petty. Surprisingly, it ends with a pair of glasses flying across the room — all because Ray, the dog’s favorite human, dared to acknowledge the family’s French Bulldog, MoMo.

Dog can’t hide his jealousy when dad pays attention to little brother

The scene kicks off with Ray looking away from Goose and cooing, “MoMo, hi, bud! Hi!” For his part, the dog does not hold back while showing his dad just how jealous he is of his little brother, attacking Ray’s face with licks and kisses. His mom laughs behind the camera as Ray tries diplomacy, telling the Labrador, “Goose, it’s okay. I can talk to MoMo, I can!”

Goose holds back for a split second, and that is when Ray makes a mistake, testing the truce with another cheerful “Hi, MoMo!” That is when the Labrador silently reaches up a paw and swats the glasses clean off his dad’s face. Safe to say, everyone, including the Frenchie, should have received the message.

In the caption, the owners explain the backstory, writing, “Goose was recently rescued,” adding, “He’s been with us just a couple of months and loves Ray.” They highlighted, “He’s a little possessive and just a tiny bit jealous of his little brother MoMo.” Moreover, they joke, “Just a tiny bit. Sure.”

What makes the whole thing sweeter is that, by all other accounts, the dog and his little brother are best buddies — even if Goose gets a little jealous here and there and knocks off his dad’s glasses to make his feelings known.
