There is a very important episode of Bluey playing in the living room, and Bosco is not about to miss it. The mixed-breed dog is sitting squarely in front of the TV, completely focused on the action, when his younger, furry sibling, Bloom, decides it is playtime. She puts a paw on his collar and tries to get his attention, but Bosco barely budges. In the video shared by @bosco.and.the.fam, he gives her a quick look that seems to say the TV comes first. Bloom backs off, finds something else to do, and eventually slides across the floor, while Bosco gets right back to his show.

If you follow the account, you know that Bosco is something of a professional TV watcher. And so seeing him locked into Bluey is hardly new. This time, though, Bloom is right there and apparently has other plans for him.

She reaches over and puts a paw on Bosco’s collar, trying to get him to leave his spot. Bosco stays seated and opens his mouth slightly, with the text on screen giving him a very fitting translation: “Girl, if you don’t let me watch my show…”

Bloom moves her head back, but she keeps one paw on him for a little longer. Bosco then lowers his head and lets the moment settle instead of turning it into a bigger fuss. That seems to do the trick as Bloom eventually takes her paw away and notices a toy nearby. She sniffs it, slides along the floor, and rolls underneath the TV, while Bosco goes straight back to watching his cartoon.

The little exchange has already picked up more than 2,300 likes in less than 24 hours, and viewers are also noticing how much Bloom has grown. One person joked that she was “the size of a potato” only last month. Another pointed out that she is now nearly Bosco’s size and could soon give him some real competition during playtime.

For now, though, there is an entire episode happening, and the TV-obsessed dog has decided that interruptions, including furry siblings’ requests, will be handled after the credits.
