Bruno and Nana are already outside with their leashes on, so it looks like walk time should be straightforward. But the duo clearly did not get that memo. The clip from @__d0ubletr0uble opens with the two Great Danes in the front yard, and their owner soon gives viewers a very good reason for the delay during walk time. Nana grabs her leash and starts running around the grass; Bruno joins the fun. And within seconds, they are rolling, rubbing their faces on the ground, and inspecting every plant they can find.
Owner shows why walking with two Great Danes takes so much time
The first shot makes it look like Bruno and Nana are ready to go. They stand innocently enough in the yard. However, Bruno eventually gets tired of standing and drops into a seated position. That is when the actual delay begins. Nana grabs the leash in her mouth and takes off across the grass. Bruno gets involved too, and the two of them are now far more interested in the grass than the sidewalk.
Nana rolls across the lawn while still attached to her leash. Bruno does the same, rubbing his face against the grass before throwing himself down for a full-body roll. He even stops at the hedge for a serious face rub, as if that part of the walk requires its own dedicated appreciation time.
His sister is not exactly moving things along either. At one point, Nana lies flat on the grass while her dad tries to get her back on her feet. She responds by putting her head down again. Later, she even sits down and happily chews on a mouthful of grass.
Bruno keeps rubbing himself across the grass, and Nana stops to sniff him. The pair then stop to investigate a plant together, giving every leaf a proper inspection. The final shot finds Bruno back on the grass while Nana stays nearby. The uploader may have called it a walk, but the dogs seem to have scheduled several other activities first.
The video has picked up 1,900 likes at the time of writing, and the comments are full of people laughing at the two dogs. One person admitted to having “no words, just laughter,” while another said they would happily join their walks.
