Kiara knows the important things now: where the food comes from, where the best patch of sunshine is, and which resident dog will play with her babies. Somewhere along the way, this mama dog and her puppies have become part of the foster home’s everyday routine.
In the video shared by @mythologicaldogs, Kiara looks completely at ease as she stretches out in the yard, gets excited about dinner, and even enjoys a little whipped cream treat. Meanwhile, resident dog Athena has taken a real interest in the puppies, turning their days into a mix of playful bows and plenty of puppy chaos.
Mama dog and her babies slowly become a part of their foster home’s routine
When the video opens, we see that Kiara’s day already has a familiar rhythm. She spends time outside with the resident dogs, stretches out in a sunny patch, and happily wags her tail when her foster mom checks in on her.
When food is mentioned, though, the relaxed mood disappears pretty quickly. Kiara jumps with excitement, then actually listens when told to wait before sitting in her bed for her meal. She even gets a little whipped cream afterward, because apparently good girls get dessert.
The puppies have their own way of keeping everyone busy. Athena seems curious about them, although one tiny pup apparently mistakes her for a potential milk bar and starts searching for a spot to nurse. That gets a laugh from their human mom, especially since Athena is clearly not prepared for the assignment.
Soon after, Athena and the puppy are trying to figure out how to play together. She drops into play bows, the puppy copies her, and then she darts away before coming back for another round. When a second puppy appears, Athena looks between the two, as if she has just realized the workload has doubled.
Still, she sticks around. She nudges one puppy, watches another attempt to climb onto the couch, and even stands nearby when the little ones need some help. At one point, both puppies gather underneath her to sniff her face, and Athena happily plays along.
It is a sweet sign of how much has changed. The mama dog is getting comfortable in the foster home, her babies are finding their feet, and Athena has become part of their everyday life, too. With more than 13,500 likes, viewers are clearly enjoying every new chapter.
