Dog rescue saves mom, dad, and their two little puppies
A heartwarming video on Instagram shows a rescue center saving a family of four dogs. The video has been winning hearts on the internet. In the caption of the post, the rescue wrote, “Welp… we can officially say this is the first time we’ve rescued an entire family. Mom. Dad. And two 4-week-old puppies.” They further elaborated, “Four new mouths to feed. Four dogs needing veterinary care. Four lives now depending on our Dog Squad community. And y’all… we need help.”
The caption of the post also reads, “Because there is no veterinary history on any of them, we’re starting completely from scratch. That means exams, vaccines, deworming, preventatives, heartworm testing for the adults, and whatever medical needs we uncover along the way.” It further reads, “The puppies are at an age where every week matters. The adults need to be fully vetted and assessed. And as any rescue knows, ‘starting from scratch’ almost always comes with surprises.”
The Instagram video begins by giving a closer look at the adorable dog family that the rescue saved. The text written over the clips reads, “POV: You rescue an entire family on a Monday night.” Through the video, the rescue shows the mom and dad dog and their two 4-week-old puppies playing and getting some veterinary attention. The rescue also explains their wishes to nurture the dog family with the help of the wider community of dog lovers.
In the comments section, one viewer wrote, “Thank you for helping all four of them and not leaving dad behind. You guys are the best.!” “You are true angels. Donated,” added another.
