This video showing a Basset Hound going into full panic mode as he watches his owner organize the cupboard is truly hilarious. The clip, shared by @upperwestsimon on Instagram, features a dog named Simon who needs reassurance from his mom that the clothes she is rearranging are for a closet cleanup and not because she is going on a trip.

This cute dog definitely doesn’t want to leave his owner’s side, not even for a moment. This is why, when he sees his mom rearranging clothes, he looks confused. This is because he believes she is going on a trip. The heartwarming video circulating on the internet was shared by @upperwestsimon on Instagram.

As the video starts, a dog named Simon is seen looking at his mom with startled eyes, as if he is trying to understand the reason behind the pile of clothes on the bed. As his mom tells him that she is not packing but reorganizing, it seems like he doesn’t believe a word she says.

He goes to his mom, with his tail wagging and genuine curiosity and affection in his eyes. He then lunges at the woman, as if to ask her not to go on that trip. The mom reassures him again, telling him not to worry, since she is just cleaning the closet and reorganizing.

The video ends with Simon still looking at his mom, his tail wagging. The post’s caption had a hilarious ring to it: “God forbid a girl does New Year closet re-org.” It highlights that with a fur baby, you simply can’t do that without them looking at you with wide, curious eyes.

The video shows the strong bond between the dog and his owner. It also captures the unique way the fur baby interprets everything.
